I always describe myself as a club addict, because I truly love getting involved in so many different areas on campus and in my free time. These are just a couple of my favorites.
As a member of Baja, I get the opportunity to build some awesome projects that you can see in my resume and in the projects section of this portfolio, but I also love the community it gives me. I really enjoy learning about how cars work and directly applying things I've learned in class to real-world problems.
I did karate in high school, but switched to taekwondo when I got to college. I'm now on the executive board for our team, and I love travelling and competing with them.
I'm a member of SWE, and I love opportunities to help girls learn about STEM and see that they can have a career in engineering. I regularly volunteer at career days and host shadows.
I'm currently entering my second year at Northwestern, pursuing a simultaneous bachelor's and master's in mechanical engineering. I'm very involved in a lot of clubs on campus, and I also hold two student jobs. For one, I'm a tour guide for prospective students (such a fun job!). I am also a peer-guided study group leader, meaning I lead a seminar once a week for students struggling in an engineering course.
I graduated from Boulder High School in 2024, but during my time there, I was an active participant in many community activities and clubs including mock trial, model UN, orchestra, robotics, and volunteering with a wildlife restoration group. I also had the opportunity to take many classes I still find relevant and valuable today, such as robotics, linear algebra, and multivariable calculus.
